Chef Haller Magee brings his notable experience, style and inspiration to The Yard.

Chef Magee has custom crafted menus that are Southern progressive in nature with global influences using fresh, seasonal and locally sourced ingredients. Chef Magee believes “food is something intimate that we can do for each other, and it brings people to the table.” Chef Magee graduated from Culinard at Virginia College with a degree in Culinary Arts. He was Executive Chef with Satterfield’s and Sky Castle Gastrolounge. Chef Magee has been nationally recognized in Best Chef’s of America, an annual distinction voted on by other members of the professional culinary community and he also earned the title of Iron City Chef 2013 and has been featured in publications including B-Metro, Southern Living,, Style Blueprint and others. In addition to The Yard, Chef Magee will oversee Moon Shine Rooftop Bar and all catering at Elyton Hotel.
